Starving people are doubling their population

August 7, 2008

A bit of a paradox isn’t it? Remember the faces of the Ethiopian children, starving, bloated bellies, and flies lighting on their faces.

In 1984 there were 33.5 million; in 2008 there are 75 million; in 2050 there will be 177 million. Those 75 million today are starving as were those in 1984. The current problem? According to Irish journalist, Kevin Myers, it’s Western handouts. The demographic holocaust! is a short article, but packed with information. I’m going to see what articles come up when I google Myers. If there’s anything good, I’ll post it. If you find anything good, put it in the comment section and I’ll put it up as a post.
