Keep sitting back and saying nothing

June 10, 2009

It happened. Again. Another cold blooded killing based on someone else’s ideology. It absolutely chills me to the bone. There are so many legitimate, factual reports that tell us hate crimes are increasing, memberships in hate groups are growing , and yet some refuse to  acknowledge the reality, even after the recent murders. And even bitching and crying “foul” on the DHS report and demanding a retraction from Napalitano. (Who, by the way, I remain very proud of.)

Sit back and say nothing because you agree with their ideology, or because you understand their anger. Sit back and say nothing because you think that these murders are just anomalies. Sit back and say nothing because you refuse to see  the bigger picture. Sit back and say nothing.

Bush was wrong (surprise). We went to fight the terrorists on their turf so we wouldn’t have to fight them here? Well, they ARE here. Homegrown.

While you sit back and say nothing, pat yourself on the back for a job well done, and think on this for just a bit:

If the situation was reversed, would you remain silent?
