“I love those folks who helped get us in this mess, and suddenly they say, ‘This is Obama’s economy.’ That’s fine. Give it to me. My job is to solve problems, not stand on the sidelines and carp and gripe.”

Like a nice cold glass of ice water on a record-breaking boiling desert day.

  1. But Joe Biden himself said, not too long ago, that this is now “our economy”, referring to himself & Obama. Does that make him a denier, too?

    • No, that makes him in agreement with Obama – the economy that they inherited does indeed belong to them now.

      • They’ve both said that they didn’t realize how bad the economy was when the took office, but that’s total BS. I knew how bad it was. Most of the country knew how bad it was. That was the reason for the tea parties: protesting massive government spending that would make things even worse. But they wouldn’t listen. Instead, they made fun, called us names, accused us of being shills for Fox News, etc., all the while saying they wanted an “honest conversation”. Bullshit. Yes, the economy was bad when they took office. But they haven’t done anything to truly help it. I know, the stock market’s going up. But so is unemployment, plant closings, etc. Government involvement is the reason I’ll be out of a job at the end of this month. So no, they can’t blame all the problems on Bush. They’re to blame also.
